I don't personally think kids under age 13 should have any form of make-up. Their skin is still tender and fresh, so I don't know exactly what mums try to achieve with making up their kids when they're so young.

Anyway, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, especially mums.

These set of parents are unknowingly grooming their kids for sexual predators and child molesters.....

Kids under 13 using makeup is a no-no.

Children of this days know.kne word which is abuse ,so u do things moderately.
No for under 18.
I will allow them love themselves naturally without makeup.so make up doesn't give them self esteem issues.

Kids get into the university at 16 these days so 18 is even almost impossible to control.

Honestly! But beyond the sexual predation (those other people have issues themselves), what it does unconsciously to the child's self-esteem as @Rosarie right mentioned.

Kids are not allowed to be kids these days, they are been dressed up like adults, it doesn't make sense, there is a time for everything.

A child who hasn't passed common WAEC Exams had no business with make up.

Personally, i see this as a self-esteem issue. I do not want my daughter believing she is prettier when she is on makeup than when she isn't. So no make up on her face until she understands this,which will probably be when she is in college.

I used to have a friend who had a child out of wedlock and she's always painting the child's face with makeup.. a girl of 10 years. I noticed the makeup stuff when the girl was 5 or 6 years and it continued for years before I summoned courage to advice her to stop it. My opening my mouth to say it ended our 6 years friendship coz she insulted me and blocked me on social media. I didn't regret what I said shaa but with the way she's going, the thing that happened in 1900 will repeat itself again.

I don't even make up so I can't have my kids do that at a young age, I'll try as much as possible to control them till they are of age.

Why will a parent allow such, who is she making up for? Let's not expose our kids to unnecessary attentions. Raise your child the way of the Lord and when dey grow up, dey will not depart from it

Child-make-up is what mostly attracts paedophiles...very rampant in Northern Nigeria where little girls are painted like dolls & they end up getting fvcked by paedophiles(pervert old men).
