.I agree with you largely that youths are now getting increasingly easily depressed and suicidal,I also understand why it seems childishly stupid to see,read or hear about full grown adults opting for the easy way out of things,the fact of the matter is that our core as beings is changing so are our actions and reactions to situations.i know depression,I used to think I could handle anything but here I stand trying to understand how it all got this bad. Suicide isn't an option for me at least for now but when all is down and after life has been ruined by ones choice or by the actions of others,Death sure looks like a jolly way down the hole.Am taking my time to type this hoping it will help some of young persons who truely want to gain an understanding of this situation gain some insight.The choices we make to live through our future or die in the past.

We have to keep teaching and counselling our fellow youths that life has never been, and is not meant to be a bed of roses. It's cowardly and sinful to take a life we didn't create.

I see confusion everywhere.... I guess its high time anti-depression course needs to be inserted in our school's curricular. People don't even know their essence of existence anymore.

Almost everyone, even the so called super rich get hits by this fucking thing called DEPRESSION but you know what? It needs to be shaken-off as soon as possible.

I also feel parents, friends and even neighbors should start dropping this attitude of "Its not my biz, He or she has her life to live". To even make the whole matter worse, our so-called celebrity's fake life style on social media has always made different hard working guys to start thinking otherwise due to how heavy cash is being thrown into the air

A lot of people are battling depression in Nigeria, if we were white facing this hardship 70% would have been gone now: so sad they both took what they considered the easy way out never to know what tomorrow would have brought. Without challenges maybe life won’t be so interesting, it only makes you stronger. Hard time would pass if you remain strong. Only the strong survives especially growing up in Africa, trust me if your weren’t strong maybe mosquitos would have killed you before you even turned 4.
