I have a cryptocurrency blog that I started a year ago. Prior to then, I've been making my living writing for crypto blogs and projects such as ICOs. I even wrote and edited some whitepapers for some blockchain projects. I assure you that in the past 3 years, my income has been from writing before I decided to start my blog.

Now I am quite curious. Is it that Nigerians are not into crypto niche or that we mostly don't have good writers? I've not hired more than 2 writers that you don't need to edit their jobs. Why is that so? Anyway, I'm trying my hands on a more general niche but since I'm focused on writing the content for my crypto blog, I'll need writers that can deliver error-free content that could be published without laborious editing. Good writers don't accept peanuts. I guess that's the reason. I write crypto articles for at least N4/word.

You're absolutely right. I personally have built the blog myself because I can't post substandard content. 98 percent of the content was written by me. 2 percent by foreign writers paid in USD or cryptocurrency. However, one of those foreigners is an Egyptian lady. Why can't I get a good Nigerian writer?

Can you prove it with a link of your published content here? You'll even get more jobs if you do.

The reason may be because you are not ready to pay well to get top-notch writers. One can't be paying 1naira per word, and expect to get top notch quality.
