The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.


What's the major work of the Holy Spirit? He is the executor of God's will on earth today. He carries out God's plans and programmes on the earth.

The earth was without form and void and deep darkness engulfed its surface. The Holy Spirit in readiness for God's instructions, hovered over the face of the earth. Suddenly, God commanded light to manifest in the darkness, and the Holy Spirit powerfully carried out the will of God, manifesting light.


To this day, the Holy Spirit is still in the business of executing the will of God on earth today. All the acts of God in the bible and to this very minute, were all done through and by the Holy Spirit.

All the miracles and great works of God in the scriptures, were performed by the Holy Spirit. The two greatest miracles, the birth of Jesus by a virgin and the regeneration of the human spirit from darkness to light were and are by the Holy Spirit.

Today, the Holy Spirit's major work is miraculously empowering the gospel and the salvation and discipleship of sinners and believers. The Holy Spirit is preparing and cleansing us for heaven provided we give Him first place in our lives. The Holy Spirit is a purifier; His fire can burn of any unwanted chaff and weeds in our lives.

The truth is that holiness and sanctification is by the Holy Spirit. We can preach holiness for as long as we like, but without the Holy Spirit, holiness is impossible. The Holy Spirit is the one who empowers us to live above sin.

In a nutshell, the Holy Spirit is the one who carries out the perfect will of God in your life:

How can i prosper? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i progress? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i get a good job? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i get married? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i be successful? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i overcome my enemies? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i be delivered? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i fulfill my divine destiny? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i live a holy life? By the Holy Spirit.

How can i perform and receive miracles? By the Holy Spirit.

Just as the church was born in acts 2 by the Holy Spirit, the church will be raptured by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has a very important role to play in the church and our individual lives. Please don't ignore Him, pray more in tongues and study your bible; your life will be transformed from glory to glory.

But the Holy Spirit is more than a gift, He is our inheritance as children of God. If you are a christian, you have the right to ask and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

But the Holy Spirit is more than a gift, He is our inheritance as children of God. If you are a christian, you have the right to ask and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

What I said is a gift is 'speaking in tongue'. Meanwhile, not all that hve the Holy Ghost speaks in tongue. I dislike it before, but the that it (speaking in tongue) came upon me, hmmm

If you are a child of God you don't need to beg God for the Holy Spirit. He is your free inheritance from God as your father.

You need to ask God in faith for the Holy Spirit. Spend like one hour to study your bible and then use another hour to ask God earnestly for the Holy Spirit.

Then release your faith begin to praise God. You will feel words rising up in you, begin to speak it out in faith.

Or better still, you can go to a living church and have an anointed minister lay hands on you to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Please be sure of the spiritual standing of the minister that lay hands on you.
