Yea the state govt converted state general hospital in osogbo and uses same as uniosun teaching hospital. However, it should be noted that the then governor oyinlolo made it clear that osun state has no financial resources to build and maintain a standard university but for political reason ....

One thing I have noticed with such philanthropists in Nigeria is that they rob the wealth of the poor masses and then distribute few crumbs and are hailed.
Abiola got the 12m dollars contract for mobile telephony in the late 70ies and whacked the money, Oga Awo a proper gentleman swore should he become president Abiola must vomit the money. Abiola fought tooth and nail against Awos ambition.
He will take small money our of billions and "donate" here and there and people will hail.
The same thing with Arthur Eze. Will get billions from defence for aircrafts and supply derelict machines. Then go around "donating" peanuts and people hail.
Same thing happens with this lady. While the building the hospital is noble. What she has taken from the system can build 3 states in the South.

So , doctors should now take the job of a civil engineer in building a hospital right ? The comment you posted in response to the guy's post matches you the most. Because doctors have no business in building and equipping a hospital. All he/she needs do is make use of the facility and concentrate on his/her area of practice. Doctors can only serve as advisers on the type of equipment to source based on his area of specialisation( pediatrics, oncology, radiology/radiography, Ob and Gyn, Cardiology, etc).
