A cross-section of Nigerians have taken the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige to the cleaners for criticizing the road projects of his successors, Peter Obi, and Willy Obiano.

Also read, I`m upset, ashamed of roads built by Obi, Obiano in Anambra.

Ngige had told reporters at the weekend that governors Obi and Obiano were constructing sub-standard roads in Anambra State.

According to him, his successors are not using quality construction companies like RCC and Setraco in construction and because of that, the roads don’t last.

Reacting to the comments, Nigerians who spoke with irukkanews told the former senator to shut up his mouth.

According to him, Ngige has no moral right to criticize anybody because he is one of the problems with Nigeria.

They said that the federal government which Ngige is part of is the worst in the history of Nigeria.

Jubril Auwal said that although he is not from Anambra state that information at his disposal showed that Peter Obi was one of the best governors that Nigeria has ever had.

He said that from available records, Willy Obiano is also not relenting in delivering the dividends of democracy to his people.

According to him, Anambra state is not one of the oil-producing states but today it is the least indebted states in the country.

Chike Ukatu said that if it is in other climes, Ngige would rot in jail for being the beneficiary of a stolen mandate.

According to him, it is only in Nigeria that criminals are more vocal than innocent people.

He said with the pains that the federal government is inflicting on Nigerians on a daily basis, where did Ngige get the boldness to criticize Obi and Obiano.

Furthermore, he said that Obi and Obiano would have already gone down in history as the two best governors that Anambra State has produced. His words,

but coming to their performance he was better than Obi. Obi's mediocrity has come back to hunt him. his flyover at nkpor almost collasped earlier this month while the one at unizik junction done by Ngige can only be seen few places in the country in terms of solidity.
