How will i walk in on my wife cheating in our house, and when i file for a divorce the house i worked hard to pay its mortgage becomes hers and i will pay her $1500 and above as child support on my kids even when i know they eat less and spend far less monthly.. and when i come visiting my children in my house and i get angry over anything, the court may still grant my ex a restraining order against me coming any where near my own house

Your assertions are not completely true. Initially when an incident happens between a couple and if the wife calls the cops, hence the plaintiff, the cop usually would have the husband, defendant, to leave the house in order to maintain peace until the issue is resolved by the court. The cops would issue what is called a TRO (temporary restraining order) on the husband, which can be easily obtained to keep the husband away from the wife before initial court hearing within five to ten days. Should the case leads to a divorce proceedings for instance, if there are minor child(ren) to the marriage, usually the court would allow the wife to stay in the marital home because courts' main interest is the best interest of the children and it would not be in their best interest to uproot them from the home that they have known since birth or so. Then during divorce proceeding each spouse has has to declare his or her assets including income and expenses. If the man makes more money than the wife, which is usually the case in most instances, then he is made to pay alimony to the ex- wife and if she makes more money, she is made to pay alimony to the ex-husband. As for child support, depending on who has physical custody and makes more money determines who pays child support and how much. If both parents share physical custody (if the child stays with the father say on weekends only and the rest of the weekday with the mother) that would be taken into account how much he's made to pay in child support and vice versa. So, there are a lot of factors that go into making that decision. It is not as easy as you made it sound. However, in family courts in most states, the laws slightly favor the woman.

But i have an old friend in Florida that caught his wife and a former US marine, and the marine charged at him strangling him, (according to him they wanted to kill him for his life insurance)... he went to the cops but the didn't file any criminal charges against the guy or the wife, so he proceeded to file for a Divorce with his lawyers, and the agreement they reached was for him to forfeit his house even when they had no minor

On a more serious note, the problem is that many Nigerian men marry and move abroad, and expect to live abroad like they live in Nigeria...where the man is the head of the house, and the woman is his willing servant.

Woman meanwhile goes aborad, and quickly learns that she isn't a slave.

This is why it is important before getting married to go for counselling, and even after....read books, and learn about how to make the marriage work. But most Nigerian men make the mistakes of their fathers...only this time they are in the USA where unfortunately laws favour the lady

Nigerian men (and women...because some women too make the same mistakes their mothers made)...should learn that marriage is not about what you get from it. Go into marriage with a 'give me ' attitude...disaster awaits.

its the craziest law in human history. Maybe it was a way to stop man from getting married....no wonder most men in the us wanna stay single....its just madness.
