The ongoing bloodbath between confraternities in the Federal Polytechnic intensified after cult groups issued ultimatums to students.

The killings which began after an ex student of the institution identified as Irale Obas was murdered led to the killing of a final year arts and creative student and another victim two hours later.

Cult groups reportedly overran the institution forcing students to flee while the management shut down the institution indefinitely.
