Even its international airport which was reluctantly approved after so many years of appeal has been closed down indefinitely by Buhari. Under the guise of 'Reconstructing its runway and taxiway"

The jury will be out to judge if the "work" they finally did in that airport justified closing it down for so long.

They feel that it's a way to make Igbo people feel depressed and then blame their governors only. The truth is that most of the bad spots are around the federal roads and the FG had always been diverting funds meant for the region. But we are doing good. Despite the obvious marginalization .

Also, At some points in the past different south east governors spent their state funds to fix some sections of federal roads but they never got their refunds back from federal government as agreed upon.
