Their jokes are stale, misogynistic, sexist, offensive, insensitive, crude and classless for the most part. They are far too basic and lack any creativity, they are especially constructed for the mediocre mind who revels in making fun of issues that shouldn't be used as humor. If they were in civilized countries, most of them wouldn't even have careers by now. They also have a tendency to be unnecessarily loud in their delivery.


Okey Bakassi was the last comedian to be truly creative on these streets, and maybe the early Basketmouth and Bovi. These days, their jokes just make me cringe.

I don't know where the Ebuka slander is coming from.

Was it not IK that hosted The Voice Naija a couple of years back, and kept saying "woooh chile!" Or "oh my gosh" after each performance? At a point, it was boring and predictable.

IK is fine where he is, hosting AMVCA every other year, he doesn't need a gig like BBN that has him coming on our screens every Sunday, and Ebuka is probably even cheaper than he is. Ebuka is the ideal BBN host, an almuni himself, he is in a perfect position, to stand on that stage.
