OBJ is the current father of Africa.

His idea of "Nigeria is the brother of Africa" makes other African countries not to take us serious especially South Africa and Ghana. Nigeria tolerates and sacrifices many things for other countries but in the end they usually pay back with evil due to envy. They are not accepting Nigeria brother role so why can't we stand on our own and protect our national interest by giving priority to Nigerians first.

During Obasanjo tenure; Nigeria Seme border was closed but as soon their president, Mathew Kereku came to plead, he opened the border again. The same Obasanjo gave Ghana 100 million dollar loan.

When Buhari refused to sign the African Free Trade Agreement, it was the same Obasanjo that mounted preasure by castigating the president that he refused to sign the African Free Trade Agreement because his hands were shaking.

These people are envious. They don't want Nigeria to play leadership role. Then why forcing the country on them?

Of what benefits are all these sacrifice? One of the way to gain international respect in the World is to guard your national interest and make your country better not father Christmas gesture that will make people not to take you serious.

Summarily, Obasanjo will be my pick anytime anyday. Some of my kinsmen hate him because he thinks Nigeria before Yoruba. He's too nationalistic to be a tribe leader, I guess that's one of his weak points.

However, I love him for who he is and detest the amugbo Lagosian for who he is.
