Hello there, you know I've really been wondering apart from the fact that my dad watches NTA network news, Channels TV and the likes, we are actually the most confused family when it comes to watching TV.

We started with HiTV, DSTV, Star times, Gotv and through all this the major problem is always the confusion on what exactly we want to watch in the sense that we switch channels in a space of 10secs.

Imagine scrolled through all the channels on Gotv more than 3 times this evening and could not settle down to watch a particular channel and we ended up switching off the TV to go out instead of staying confused forever

So i'm really curious to know what channel you watch as a family.

we like watching Africa magic Yoruba as a family....

I watch news and sports channels.
Wife is hooked on Zee World Mehek.
Kids are on their cartoon channels.

As a family we watch each other's favourite channel without concentration, just waiting for each person's episode to finish since we have only one DSTV decoder.
Also, whenever anyone gets up either to use the toilet, get something from the fridge or go check the pot on fire in the kitchen we quickly switch to our favourite channels briefly before they return.


The most annoying one is the ongoing episode on Zee World called Mehek, when I think that they will kill the Actor Suara or the Actress Mehek so that the film will end and I can have my 9pm to 10pm back, but they will kidnap her and that will last for 2 months before they will release her and she will have accident on her way home, another 3 months in hospital episode have started from there, in short I don taya to wait

Cockcrow at dawn, Bassey and company and Tales by moonlight.

My siblings hates my guts when I insist the TV must be left on Al Jazeera or BBC. When am present, we watch any Crime/investigative channel, Documentary, Nat Geo, super sports or the news.

In my absence, Movies(Hollywood, Nollywood and soap opera) and other music channels. See my siggy for that car

Supersport blitz and any other sport channels. A family of five, 3boys with Mom and Dad making 5. So technically we have four guys in the building. Mom doesn't do much of TV so we don't fight to change channels in my house

WAP TV, cultured and controlled......the traditional TV stations (NTA etc) are no longer family friendly

Disney Junior. The boys are in charge when it's time to watch TV.

Mehek! Used to press my phone and laptop while they are all watching it. The way they pay huge attention to it, i used to be like. Wetin dem dey watch sef. Small time, they started gisting me. Small time, I started getting interested. Small time, I fell in love with it.

Na person wey get TV dey watch TV, the only thing I watched in my house is CEILING and my favourite Ceiling is the one facing my mattress side... I love watching those rats jumping through hoping I'll leave so they can bounce on my garri.

Crime and Investigation.My kids just look at the pictures quietly.Them no understand,but the fact that everywhere is quiet kinda make them believe this kind of cartoon is interesting 'somehow'.

But recently we have been so engrossed with 'Money Heist".My son will stand right in front of the TV and will not sit till it ends .I think he is fascinated by the masks.
