The funny thing is that the real people, whose accent it is, don't get impressed when someone, who has lived all his life in Nigeria, tries to speak English in their accent.

They are more interested in your speaking English in an accent they will understand...not sounding phony because you want to impress them.

For countless number of times, the BBC has pronounced Nigeria's English accent the best in the world.

Some of us don't know the value of what we have, really.
It actually sounds a lot worse when people start contorting their mouths and tongues into all sort of demonic shapes just to form, to the point where you cant even understand them again

I have had to switch over from radio programmes just because i couldnt take it anymore

See better schoolshocked

It is in Abuja we have schools that your kids can attend and they speak American or British English language. Send them abroad and they won't have issues blending - grammatically.

Not these ones in Abuja satellite towns like Tungamaje, Gwagwa/Karimo or even "One man Village", which kids of the poor attends and you hear them say,

Mommy: Who beat you

Kpako kid: " Na John beat me, I NOW push him, and he NOW push me, and I NOW blow him and he NOW beat me" angryangry angry

Pls, give birth to the number of children you would give the best of almost everything, in your capacity - yes, show them that life can be hard too.
So what if one's first pregnancy is a set of sextuplets, the person go throw some abi? So he can give others quality education.

Staircase with no handrails for school kids. That is big building code violation In a sane climate.
Moreover those multiplication on the steps are big distractions and could actually lead to fall. Schools should be a safe place for kids
Thank you. God bless u abundantly some people are already condemning other schools for not writing multiplication table on the stairs.

but where's the code violation if both sides of the staircase are encased by the wall huh thinking back to my school i only saw a banister where there was no wall...

and the multiplications help the kids to look at where theyre going to put their legs...

NOnye Nwanyi OMA, what I wrote is a "should be" but for many it is "not ideal". That is why I said there are exceptions.

After all, after family planning, some mothers take in after years of ending child birth.

Yes, it's THEMED!
The THEME of the class's attire was Yoruba trad.

It's NOT "teamed"...
And frankly, basic English is not that difficult to grasp. SMH
