I found out about a Loan Scheme by the Central Bank of Nigeria for businesses in the Creative Economy - CIFI Loan ( Go to cbn.gov.ng for more)

I'm a photographer and I really need to get some funding to progress in my career right now.

Has anyone here gotten this loan? Or applied?
I want to know if it's all these Connection needing Loan? I don't know anyone na.

I made inquiries at the Bank, I was told to get a CAC first then submit along with a Business plan.

You need to act fast and get your business registered. Don't be fooled by that connection stuff. Actually there is 200billion SME fund lurking away with the CBN. As at now only 78billion have been accessed, and according to a CBN representative, its because no one is coming for it.

Now this loan you are talking about is a collateral free loan that attracts a repayment interest rate of just 9%. The clause is that 70% of the loan would go to equipment purchase, which will be paid for in the name of CBN and full ownership transferred to you when you complete payment. You can access up to 10million naira.

So what you do is go to the National Directorate of Employment in your state or any other CBN approved training centre. Tell them you want to get trained for the purpose of obtaining the CBN loan. You may be trained for free or you pay. It's the prerogative of the centre. You be trained on how to write a business plan with a format approved by CBN. After which you will be issued a certificate and an application form for the loan.

The rest is up to you in drafting out an interesting plan according to the given template. If you are successful, you will be called.

Go to any NDE office. You'll be briefed on more and given a form to fill. You'll be asked to get CAC and a business plan ready but the business plan comes in handy only if CBN approved your form.

DBN (Development Bank Of Nigeria) Loan is meant for SMSE but most of d banks designated to disburse this low-interest, long-term loan deny d existence of such loan. Only Fidelity n Lapo mfb admitted knowledge of it, but fidelity demanded for collateral, n d FG said n o need for collateral. Let's go to these banks n demand they do d right thing, let's make it trend on social media until VB they start doing d right thing.
