Sadly, it is exactly what has been done for generations and generations. the actions of a few can indeed spoil the image of a whole nation. This is the reason why, due to the action of a few scammers, all Nigerians around the world are viewed as fraudsters.

It's a normal reaction, and as much as it doesn't warrant for being attacked or killed, I certainly understand why many do label others.
