Prettiepearlz:Well you are correct. Most people go this route so as to improve their chance of getting ITA or getting a look in by a province. Spouse accompanying reduces your score drastically while unaccompanied spouse gives you some fighting chance. The reduction in points isn't that severe for unaccompanied spouse. |

Stencil:If you get provincial nomination then it doesn't matter. Although I doubt if the express Entry system will allow you to have an account if you do not have at least 1year experience in Skill 0, A or B |

Good morning nairalanders , my name is Dami,I'm a registered automobile dealer in Lagos state. I have been hearing about migration into Canada via some entry programs but I'm really confused as to where to start from or who to go for help, a friend got his PR last 2 months and advised me to put up a profile on nairaland to join the family for help. He gave me some guidelines but all still seems strange to me . That's why I'm here seeking assistance and pleading that you all accept me to be a part of the family and I know that by the special grace of God , all our efforts will not go in vain Please I need your assistance to start this journey. I'm married with a Son , I'm 30years old , I have a higher national diploma with 3.20 CGPA. I have been doing freelance business since my academic days and the only formal work experience I can say I have is the 1year NYSC, all my effort to secure a job since I graduated has proved abortive . My wife is 29 years old and has a BSC in Accounting with 2:2 , she was lucky to have worked after her 1 year NYSC as an accountant at a medical hospital in Lagos for a short period before she resigned because of accommodation problems. She's currently doing clothing business at the moment . Please I need guidance on how to proceed and the necessary steps to take and how to know our points. Please I would be glad if I get a swift response My whatsapp lines are : 08107185686, 09010831972 cc topsmamen ednut1 Silver surfer tina26 Ladymarshall dimple10 |

Bosst123101:read page 1 and also use google. Also disturb your friend well . From the profile you put up there you should be the Primary applicant. Two things to do. 1- write ielts language test and aim for 8777( listening 8and above. Wife should aim for 6666 and above . 2 evaluate your ond and hnd plus wife's bsc with WES. |

Bosst123101:Read through Page 1 and page 1 of part one. How short is the period your wife worked for? With your ond & HND, you can claim two or more certificates. Evaluate your wife’s Bsc. Aim for the best when it comes to Ielts (though the minimum is LRSW-8777, I would say aim higher even when you fall short, you don’t fall too much). How long has your business been registered? If it’s three years, Do you have staff working for you? If yes, I think you can claim NOC for car dealership manager which is NOC 0621 but you would have to claim self employed. To know more about those who have gotten PPR with self employed, use Page 1. But I would say evaluated your credentials first and you two should prepare for Ielts and aim to get better scores |

Mumtwins2:this is on ircc website. if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience). |

Good afternoon, i think i have just made a very stupid mistake. Am using IQAS for my evaluation, i checked my application this morning and the status is showing waiting for transcript which is strange because the tracking number showed that it already received so i went back to read about sending transcript to be sure that i didn't make any mistake but i actually did. My school was meant to send my reference number with my transcript which i didn't inform them about. My question is this, can IQAS use my tracking number add my transcript to my application. Telling my school to resend is a serious problem. |

Please who has used WES to evaluate law school certificate? I intend to evaluate my wife's call to bar certificate only... wouldn't mind even if they will evaluate it as first degree as I will be primary applicant. Her school is far and we have no one to help with the transcript whereas we can easily get law school's certificate as we reside in Abuja. |

Please house do one pay for eligibility assessment? An immigration lawyer in Canada told a friend he would need to pay for 'eligibility assessment', don't know what that means. |

Quite obvious that immigration lawyer is only trying to make some bucks by providing services your friend is too busy to carry out on his own. Page 1 of this thread provides the same service and more free of charge. The ball is in your friend's court! dgee1: |

How? I assessed my eligibility with my phone at home. If he has enough doh to spend abeg I dey here. There’s nothing to pay for The problem is that people don’t like sourcing for information, so if you’re lazy to do that someone will charge you for it. dgee1: |

What's done's done. You have two options left. One is what you've just suggested. Give that a try. Who knows? You might just receive favour. But we're in a part of the world where anything that comes out from there is viewed with suspicion. I pray they do not suspect any sinister motive for not asking your institution to include your Ref No in the first place. The other option is IQAS rejecting your request and demanding that your school resends the transcript. That's your worst nightmare coming to reality. I do not know much about IQAS, but I know WES do not bend their rules to suit anyone. All the best. justthinking: |

Hello house, I have an issue and need an advise. The company I currently work with has refused to give me reference letter... I'm thinking of meeting a senior colleague to give me, though it won't be in a letter headed paper. Will IRCC accept it? |

justwise:I nominate yemblaze. My reason: she is about to get ita, which means more chance to be with us for longer. Ladymarshall is our queen, undisputed. But I smell her ppr to very very near that means she can join the older elders to disappear soon. ![]() Let ladymarshall be in charge of updating our hall of fame, script marking, general adviser and queen of sass.
