If being a pastor doesnt not make one a "super being", then what's the relevance of the whole religion? What then is expected of ordinary lay members? I thought being born again was supposed to make one a new creature and old things passed away? Are you insinuating that there are no moral expectations of being a Christian, simply because it a Christian is ordinary human being?

My broda, that's why as Christians we shud make Christ our point of focus,our role model. Man will always be what/who he is. This is just a tip of the iceberg. There are thousand others in the churches and universities who are still in hiding.
Being born again doesn't make us super humans in any way. That's why the Bible says we shud guid our salvation with every thing we have got cos it could be lost at any time. One could be saved this moment and the next day fall short of grace through Sin. As long as we are humans still on earth we are not perfect in any way even we are Born again.
If u recall very well, the devil even tempted Jesus severally and he never gave up on him to the point of crucifixion where Jesus was scared to die ( cos of his human nature) though He be God . God the Gather had to send the angels or the holy spirit ( can't recall dis one ) to strengthen Him so He could fulfil the task ahead .
That's why God said our righteousness are like filthy rags before Him. Meaning we say we are righteous through giving our lives to Christ, albeit when we get to heaven ,Gods righteousness can't be comprehended. His righteousness will shine/ glitter on those in paradise and we shall then be made perfect. As long as we are on earth, even while being born again ,we are not perfect.

What the heck is your point?
Sexual molestation is not just bad, it is a crime, for the fact he is a pastor even worsen the case as he has a lot of followers he has led astray and has let them down unlike an ordinary member or a simple man that has just few people mostly immediate family he is mentoring.

first sexual molestation doesn't deserve death in Nigeria constitution.
Second his crime isn't the worst crime in Nigeria and those with worst crimes hasn'rlt been jailed not to talk of been killed.
Let him be stripped of all his achievements and brought down from power. And possibly jailed.
Anything above that is a conspiracy of sadism and Vamperism.

1. He was suspended, not expelled. That's you know, the first logical step in handling situations like this.
