As the Bayelsa State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) began its campaign for the November 16 governorship election in the state on Monday, Information Parrot Nigeria reports that a former president of Nigeria Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, governors elected on the platform of the party and its National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus were conspicuously absent.

At the event which held at the Ox-Bow Lake Pavilion, Yenagoa,the state capital, Mr.Secondus was however represented by the party’s Vice-Chairman, South, Emmanuel Ogidi amidst thousands of party faithful across the eight local government area of the state.

The highlight of the inaugural campaign was the defection of a former APC stalwart from Sagbama Local Government Area, Miebi Bribina.

Both Gov.Seriake Dickson and PDP Candidate, Senator Douye Diri boasted that PDP will emerge victorious at the election.

There is fire on the mountain and no one seems to be running.

Nigerians need to understand something... "It's not all about the political party...its all about what the individual have got to offer " let's not misguided by dx political party.. What matters is an individual who can really deliver when voted into power.

Well,i'm not surprised...nobody would want to roll with bunch of failures...the same Goodluck who invented *failure* in bayelsa is now refraining from it...up APC!

Things are really not well with PDP IN Bayelsa, Gov Dickson and other party leaders in the state should better take their time else they would be handing the state over to the opposition on a platter of gold in the coming elections
