He was actually killed by his father in-law according to his last speech

Every execution always draw public sympathy. ..cos we are human...but the law must be implemented. As at that time crime was minimal cos death warrants are signed. Our governors are reluctant to sign cos they don't want blood on their hands but they loot the masses dry....their action is even more than what the robbers do...

Oh my God! This video is gruesome. That accused man does not seem guilty but rather a very intelligent man. If this video was shot in the 70’s then this man proposed a solution to police interrogation that I don’t think was widely practiced in the west even in the 70’s. I hope his case is reinvestigated and the Francis Ojukwu is questioned. Oh, I am sick to my stomach.

He clearly said his words were used against him .. Also saying tho father inlaw killed him .. But the mp said he his an armed robber .. From what he said .. He already knew he was going to die ..because his word were used against him and he didn't have a lawyer .. But he should have been tried further .. He words sounded like he was framed up. I totally doubt if that man committed any crime. Its like the father in-law never wanted him to marry his daughter so had to set him up. And many policemen participated in the shading of innocent blood. So many generations will keep suffering for crimes they father's did.

This video brings back great nostalgia of the public executions of the military years.
Apologies to the Indomie and Minimie generation who would never relate to this.

For us, it was an act of patriotism to watch our country being rid of people who were against it's greatness.

We watched in keenness.
From watching them marched out of the Black Maria, to being prepared at the stake of drums, then having their last words taken and final prayers given.
Some took their coming doom in good faith while others cried like babies before the volleys of bullet from the soldiers shut their mouths up for them.

I always looked forward to going to Coal camp in Enugu back in the days to watch those live executions.
I was so passionate that I remember not eating for two days just because I missed that of Mamman Vasta.

In retrospect,
It wasn't about a patriotism, I was just becoming a psycho

Our laws should provide no hiding place for criminals. That's the only way our criminal minded folks can truly learn a lesson.

Nigerians back then were generally intelligent and well spoken, esspecially those that could speak english.

This mans last words just made me sad. I can't believe he was facing death adn still talked with so much courage.
