It's like the Saudi Prince who murdered his fellow citizen and US journalist Kashoggi wants to take revenge for the Houthi drone attack that cut Saudi oil production by half.
Also the capture of thousands of Saudi soldiers by the Yemeni Houthis also embarrassed him.

Prince Mohammed bn Salman has done a lot of damage to Saudi Arabia in collaboration with his American backers who sold billions of Air Defence Systems that failed to intercept the Houthi drones.
Attacking Iranian tankers will cause significant damage to the ecosystem with oil spillage.

That Prince is currently starving millions of his fellow Muslims in Yemen with a blockade of air, land and sea with NATO support.
Unfortunately, he and his father King Abdulaziz are custodians of the two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina with all these crimes against humanity
