While it is morally right to elect a president of igbo extraction in 2023 the insults and hatred being displayed to other tribes is a throwback. A timely change of such attitude could convince the aggrieved tribes.

This is exactly what the likes of Esseite should be advocating for, and not trying to convince Nigerians in vain to gift their valuable votes to people that do nothing but hate, insult and continuously oppose them.

3 years is ample time to make amends, build bridges and take practical steps towards Igbo presidency instead of dreaming of APC magically giving them their ticket to make it an all Igbo affair in 2023.

The bridges are being built , and practical steps are being taken aswell but Nigerian quest for power usually comes with some aggression.

SW got it via Obasanjo through MKO's death
NW got it via Yar adua through Herdmen issues
SS got it via GEJ through Militants

In your example, it is more of every other stakeholders has headed the company, others who haven't in recent past should have the opportunity as well.

Nigerian President from the South East in 2023 is beyond party politics. It is a national project.

That is one way to look at it. Another is that having an Igbo Candidate in 2023 APC can take over the entire South East call it consolidating power.

If PDP zone to the North, South East will vote APC, and APC is stronger than PDP in the north.

APC will win by a landslide.
