method 1 install ur favs launcher xos , hios , apex , just any 1 u prefer
go to settings go to apps look for amigo launcher click on it stroll down look for clear as default

then press the home bottom the preferred launcher or launchers will appear including amigo choose your prefer launcher and select as ALWAYS

go to apps
look for amigo launcher
click on it
stroll down look for clear as default

then press the home bottom
the preferred launcher or launchers will appear
including amigo
choose your prefer launcher and select as ALWAYS

but to get a truly compactable launcher for amigo UI is kinda hard.

one last thing. WhatsApp and other chat app doesn't run on gionee background. and you will never received chats message unless you open the open.

is there any way to make some app work at the background on gionee Android 5.1?

in settings
check if there is any data restrictions

there are no restrictions on the apps I'm talking about. it only get messages when I open it
