Phone-call etiquettes Nigerians should know: 1. Allow the caller to be in control. Do not interrupt. 2. Respond on time to a missed call either by way of text or call.[color=#006600][/color] 3. Both parties should give polite notice before hanging up unless the circumstance warrants it. Simple 'bye' may suffice. 4. Both parties should speak audibly. Do not shout. Find a quiet place. 5. Both parties should avoid all distractions such as greeting a passerby. 6. If you call once without response, call once more. It may be vexatious and rude to call a person more than twice without response. You may text afterwards. 7. Let your call be brief. |
