He added, “We hope President Buhari can take the talks to their logical end. The agreement will open new possibilities in such areas as the supply of military equipment and training for specialists.”

And please we don't have any arms deal with China for fighter jets. But if you say we do can you please tell what class of jet they would be selling to us.
We all know that what we have in our arsenal when it comes to jet are old alpha jets and some dasults and these have been relegated to being used as training aircraft's in some countries.i agree that corruption would still affect the purchase but we can not eliminate the fact that it's still a wise military deal
C'mon let's face it the USA would not even sell their f18's to their close Ally turkey but just last year, Russia sold to us their state of the art Mi helicopter.

Nigeria bought Chengdu F7 jets from China in 2010. 15 units, I believe.

The deal included purchase and training of Nigerian pilots.

am talking about a war on Boko haram insurgency and you are here displaying US war ships? Those destroyers were not sold to Nigeria for the purpose of the insurection in the north east, NNS thunder operates on sea making it useless in the fight against boko haram as there are no seas in the north East and it can't maneuver on lake chad, secondly those harmless mine resistance vehicles were donated in 2016 during buhauri's tenor and we all know that it was during GEJ administration Nigeria was heavily plagued by the activities of Boko haram and needed formidable weapons, giving me a harmless mine resistance vehicle is not an assistance for me to use during combat when I know you could do much more better, but give me attack helicopters and multiple rocket launcher like the image Bellow, then i will know that you are giving me good assistance, that isexactly what the Russians did.
