Actually it was a good lesson given the Saudis were able to restore their infrastructure which got hit in a matter of days and as a bonus the Saudis have been forced to realise that the deficiencies in their air defence.

Here also whoever attacked the Saudis showed their capabilities prematurely and for what gain considering that the Saudis r now wiser and will plug their air defences deficiencies and most probably up the overall capabilities of their air defence systems.

I consider the attacks to be a insider hand job. Houthis don't have the technical capability to carry out pin point strikes at such long ranges.

I guess u failed to see the context of my post completely , I am not interested in what is obvious and coversely useless but rather what is not obvious but holds utmost significance in the implications of the same.

What if some country tries to replicate the same objectives in my ( or u r ) neighborhood in the hope it can get away with it.

Eg

If 2 guys fight I am not wasting time to side with either of them or waste my time speculating who might win or lose or draw , but rather observe the 2 parties, oblivious to who is winning or losing, given the possibility that one or both of them might turn on me in the future , and learn enough so that the aforesaid possibility does not happen with me . It is more relevant in the case of nations.

Anyways

There r no friends among nations , only interests.

And this by extention should theoretically extend to all the citizens of a country. But the reality is countries cannot exist without its fair share of stupid citizens.

And

What if I tell u that there is a fair possibility that given the unfolding geopolitical situation in ME, Saudis and Iranians in the future might settle into a understanding of sort , not friends exactly but neither cutthroat enemies.
