Some months ago I started feeling pains in my penis immediately after urinating. Initially it was mild but it gradually got more painful. There was no discharge but a friend adviced me to treat gonorrea. I was placed on antibiotics which I took religiously. The pains only subsided but returned later. I run HIV test and it was negative. I even stopped taking energy drinks hoping that it might be the cause to no avail.
I recently realised that prolonged sitting in the office or driving triggers it off. Five days ago I drove from Port Harcourt to Abuja and I nearly ditched the car on the way because of the pains. I intend to fly back and have somebody drive the car to Port Harcourt.It has affected my libido seriously.
Please I need help as its running me crazy. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I did that. They placed me on antibiotics which didn't help. I am hoping to be advised on which specialist to see in particular. Thanks man.

You can present to any tertiary hospital (eg, teaching hospital). There, a good history would be taken and your doctor would then make informed decisions.

The problem with herbal medicine in Nigeria is that it has been bastardized. I remember when herbal / traditional treatment as alternative to modern medical treatment started gaining weight in early 2000s. They were very effective and cheap. Those like yemkem and others made lots of money.
When Nigerians saw that money is there, everybody started making his own herbal concoction for this and that. Now there are so many herbal products with and without Nafdac registration.
Nigerians can spoil any good thing. Name it,if it comes to Nigeria,it will be abused because of greed. Nigerians don't care about any solution to anything,they just want to make money.
There's a guy on Nairaland selling a product he claims works for Quick ejaculation,weak erection etc. He packages his products inside one stupid satchet with no Nafdac registration.
I don't know if his products are genuine but,what if he mixes some trash together and sell for whopping 10k imagine. If your product is genuine why can't you get Nafdac registration,even with the Nafdac many are still below standard.
Nigerians are consuming poisons daily,fake drugs from onitsha is there,fake herbal products is there, may God help us.

That's the exact name my doctor called it= enlarged prostatis. He said antibiotics could cure it. That in acute cases a surgery would be required. And that that surgery could cause infertility. That's what scares me die.

The doctor is right, but antibiotics only cure the prostatitis caused by an infection. The antibiotic didn't work for you because it's caused by a chronic prostatitis, and this can only be treated completely by surgery as stated by your doctor or you take the right and proven supplements to get the desired results.
