I'm not a fan of this guy.. But I observed everytime this guy Messi plays, opponents never want him to have the ball.. They know he loves to receive the ball from the midfield and once he does, the danger begins.. I observed how they try to open a space to the wing when Messi has dropped to the middle, so they could mark him and stop him from being the support play...

Love the way you put it. We all can act like we don't see it, but no one watches his game without observing this fact.. Even Milner said "Messi makes you look stupid"...I've observed a difference between the Ronaldo and Messi... Defenders mark Ronaldo from making a run and shooting, but they mark Messi from making a run, passing the ball, and shooting... To stop that, you need lots of players around him. Two manmarking him and two shadow marking him. Only those who watch his games would know

Stop being ridiculous, I don't think you either understood the question or your own response. The question did not ask if Ronaldo is a threat but who is more threatening between Messi and Ronaldo. Every football player has his own perceived threat level.

Let me rephrase so you answer with a yes or no. Is Ronaldo more of a threat than Messi? Support your response with at least a pictorial proof.

most people just like to create unnecessary arguments, even Ronaldinho who was more physical and more skillful than Messi and Ronaldo, you hardly see plenty defenders marking him.
I play and also watch football, this scenes aren't really planned. at any point in time you can find as many opponents coming against you.

The bolded is another ridiculous premise. Does skill translate to threat? So if somone can juggle ball with the hind of his foot for instance does that mean he will be a serious threat in a game? Dembele for instance does not know how to juggle ball but the guy is a star.

So because I think Messi is more threatening than Ronaldo, that implies that I am an FCB fan? By your logic, I could also conclude that you are a Juventus fan because you think Ronaldo is more threatening. How silly.

When the premises of your arguments are always flawed, how then do you want people to rely on your judgements?

The way you argue is quite amazing.

Ronaldo presence in the field is intimating and he is always incharge, Ronaldo's confidence scares defender because they know he(Ronaldo) takes advantage of any of their lapses or error at any slight opportunity.

Messi on the otherhand is a snake, A viper. He doesn't need to show how confident he is. Sometimes, he plays without his presence felt on the pitch but when decides to pull a fast one, he gets really quick with it and takes defenders unaware. By the time, the opposition is trying to cover up after being caught unaware, he (Messi) is setting the pace to score or taking a long strike.

I can say Messi is more dangerous because Ronaldo's confidence approach can be locked down but Messi deceptive approach is difficult to predict for a lock down. See that cheap Lexus down my sig

when C. Ronaldo is on the ball, most defenders still have hope of collecting the ball from him,

but when L. Messi holds the ball, you can't predict his next move as a defender, so you will need more of your defender mates to join hands with you in order to be able to get the ball from Messi.

Messi is a threat to any defence, Ronaldo is "I just want to score."
