That is a private initiative by some Lebanese & driven by some vested politicians in Lagos but disguised as state govt. project. It's been on the table for some time but was not approved by the Ambode administration & a strong push back by Unilag for security reasons. This new govt. is approving anything it's sponsors want irrespective of benefits or otherwise to Lagosians. U shld wonder y this is a priority when the main reason for the traffic situation is the bad roads.

Bad Idea. this will be used as escape routes for criminals and Unilag will experience influx of criminals from town passaging through the school to Yaba and its environs

You are right on this

This Sanwolu guy must be high on cheap drugs.

Oworonshoki jetty is yet to be put into use just few miles from this proposed unilag one.

Other new jettys are still there idle and all you want to do is keep on awarding contracts for new ones.

Who did we Lagosians offend because it appears this guy is confused.

Will it be different from the jetty built by Ambode at Ilaje,Bariga.is it an abomination for continuity to take place in this direction? Moreover,Ilaje bariga is not far from Unilag. This is a pure waste of resources by this administration.

I don’t think the skol needs this. It might make security porous in the skol. How many students actually need to go by water transportation? None or very few. Let’s stop this hyping and chase more important things.

The security of the campus will become porous. They have to also work on traffic management within the campus. This initiative requires a lot of planning before implementation.

Good development...

There are many roads that needs rehabilitation, you need to do that first before moving to water.

Some of these roads needs urgent attention.

Ishawo agric, ogijo, ijede, etc is killing

If serious, the government can complete these roads under 3 weeks...

But of course, what benefit is it to them? Do they even know such places exist?

How do u complete these roads as u say while it's raining each day?

You are thinking in Nigerian. Think hard in English then repost a better comment afterall your name is oblibgata. Use it. You cannot rehabilitate all roads before you develop alternative solutions that will reduce the wear and tear on roads. Its not chicken and egg. Its a part solution not an alternative
How many times will politicians play on your intelligence before you understand their game plan? No be today nyansh begin dey for back. If this govt truly has the interest of the populace at heart, it will prioritize the rehabilitation of Lagos roads, and save us all the hardship we presently suffer in traffic jams. But the discerning knows that rehabilitation works will not generate for them enough money to share, as would embarking on new projects; which real cost can be inflated as many times as possible.

Ogijo isn't in Lagos. Call out Ogun state government to their responsibility.
