Make them punish any house or shop with blocked drainage, psp people should pay abokis to remobe the plastic bottles in the drainage for recycling.
Government should ensure proper drainage before doing any egbeti road construction.
Those NURTW people should not be collecting money only, they should be doing palliatives on the roads and Gutter too.

only road. people act like repairing roads is improvement, repairing roads are basic duties of local government, i just tired for naija.

every administration is only repairing roads, if the roads were of high quality, all these roads would have been in good conditions by now.

what of poor state of education, smelling gutters, waste everywhere, beggars, traffic, security issues.
only road, u ask? Repairing these type of roads is not the basic duty of a LG, these roads are federal and state roads, unlike streets and tiny lenght of road within a LG.

And no matter how high d quality of a road is built, it must still be maintained, developed nations with high standard roads still repair them.

Try to make ur criticism constructive.

Autojoshng I really admire this follow-up you've done on the governor's directive. It's not enough to make promises and take photos for the media, Nigerian politicians should be held accountable by the electorates.

Good job Josh, if more Nigerians were like you, this country would be a better place.

what was nonconstructive in my comment

every year dem dey reconstruct road for lagos due to low quality construction

as you wrote in the highlighted, if the roads were of high quality, do you think they will be totally destroyed, what we have there is total destruction of the roads, so every year they have to redo the roads in lagos because the last construction was poor

a road being of high standard doesn't mean it won't need maintainance or palliative repair when needed. We don't have total destruction of roads in lagos, we have failed section on some roads and no road at all in some places.

And lagos does not redo roads every year due to d poor construction.
