I should attend the wedding I've been invited to next week.

So what thrills you then, low-key wedding, let say court formalities? It's necessary you attend this one, maybe you may get thrilled along the line hahaha. But honestly sweetheart, wedding is good o cause it opens your eyes to some realities, i mean during the planning and everything.

If one person is named a best man in your own wedding day, then it simply means you are not as good as that person. The best man should be the groom in himself. A friend's wedding is coming up and he has bought this very nice blue suit he wants to use some 3 months ago.

Now, he wants to get the same suit for his best man but he's not seeing the exact colour. He has toured the whole of Lagos Island (Mandilas inclusive) but didn't the exact shade/colour.

His groom's men are using black suit so someone said his best man can use black suit, too.

So what do you think about this, guys?

Should he get different (but close) shade of blue suit that he got for himself for his best man?

Or

Should the best man dress like rest of the men in suit?

The other day, my friend was making a fuss about why a certain maid of honour let her hair fall freely instead of pinning it up. I was honestly lost.

What is the difference between white wedding and traditional wedding in real sense?

You are not alone on this dear, i haven't attend a wedding in the past almost 2decades, hence when people talk about groomsmen, chief bride's maid blah blah blah i just watch them like movie. Now a friend is set to get married shortly and just informed me he wishes i'm one of the groomsmen, i was like wat do u say? The truth is, this guy does not know i know nothing about wedding events and i wish to honor him but when i did a little research about the whole thing, i concluded its better to stay out of the groomsmen thing and just attend to watch and learn from now on.

Oga what of me wey somebody don choose me as his bestman next month....eh don even buy suit.... I don't even have a slight idea what I'm supposed to be doing on that day... I'll just be taking care of myself.... nah them Sabi!!

The best man can wear the black suit but use the same tie as the groom while the groomsmen use a different tie style/pattern

He should get something close but not different colour.

When I tell my colleagues that my kinda wedding is just strictly by invitation on the beach....My family members+7friends same goes for Mrs right.... invite the pastor to join us and be on his way....while the merriment goes on!!!
