Gov. Seyi Makinde want to build bus terminal in Iwo road. They'll have to demolish a mosque and a church and some other private buildings.

He went to the mosque for Jumat and dialogued with the worshipers, promising them proper relocation and compensation.

I'm sure he'll be worshiping at the church on Sunday doing the same.

This is a sharp contrast to what Ajimobi is know for. Inside this life, people will always reflect the upbringing in public conducts.

The people are more than happy to let go completely because he respected them.

It's like I am beginning to gbadun this Makinde guy. Very mature, sensitive and sensible. He understands life inside life. That it's not by power nor by might, even though he is Governor. Makinde for President.

No one is against demolition, there is only resistance when there is no compensation. Many structures in Lagos, really have to be demolished to pave way for sanity.

Some structures on Abeokuta express way before getting to the turning leading to the airport needs to be demolished so that a proper bus terminal can be constructed there. The traffic caused due to passengers boarding is avoidable

How? Iwo road should be widened. It is sad but it has to happen.

Prophet Muhammad said Muslims must not gather to pray or do anything pertaining religion on the road that people including Christians, Jewish and idol worshippers would pass, blocking them and he said its allowed to demolish a mosque if it's going to be an obstruction of development or blockage of road. That's why the Imam received Makinde with smiling face, if he did otherwise, then he's deviating from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad(Pbh). Why wouldn't one be proud of our religion? Look at the Imam well dressed emulating Prophet Muhammad even after 1400+ years and even upon yeye civilization. Islam stands still with no room for modification to suit this era of yet civilization,I see our women embracing large hijab touching the ground more and more these days and it makes me feel proud of my religion and give kudos to prophet for teachings and laws that stand the test of time.
