What a what, you are jokingly insulting a old man because you order less than 1500 ride?.. when i enter uber, i just greet, give direction, tell them to start trip, sit at the front and keep quiet. Except it a young chap we just chat like we are pals.

I honestly understand your point and I respect it but we attach too much importance to trivial things. So if that man had 10 clients that day and 9 insulted him, he would send the 9 clients out and go home empty? Would he cook respect when he gets home? And what was the insult if I may ask? The man is tired and possibly angry on the kind of job he's doing for a living . So just try and be respectful or better still keep quiet after explaining to him where he should drop you.

I ordered for a cab, the driver came and I explained again where I'm going. I was already late. The driver took a short cut which I don't even know where we are heading . And I calmly asked him , hmmm ...please I hope it airport road you are taking me to? Cause I'm lost here . He mumbled don't worry , there is holdup on the main express, we wil get to your destination on time .
I kept quiet , and watched as he drove fast and swift , I was like my God is with me, nothing bad will happen to me in Jesus name amen.

Then few minutes we got to our destination . I heaved silently and whispered thank you lord! As I saw the number of the house I need to be @.
I paid him off , he even request i save his number incase I need another trip ..then complimented my looks , I smiled and came down jejely .
That's it .
No need looking down on them. They are already frustrated with Nigeria and its economy . its simple logic.

The term Customers are always right means that the satisfaction of customers must be prioritized.

It doesn't mean that you should take bullshit from customers. If a customer is being unreasonable, there is no policy that says you can't kick them out. Same for mannerless customers.
