An Igbo ethnic based group, Igbo Ekunie Initiative, IEI, has protested that the federal government has refused to fix the runway of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu, close to two months after closure.

The group in Awka, Anambra said it has reviewed the abrupt closure of the airport and the continuing delay or outright refusal of the federal government to commence work and found it worrisome.

What prevents enugu state government from buying the airport from the federal government? This is the only way to stop this nonsense. I hate unnecessary complaining. This type of behaviour by the federal government to cripple that airport didn't start today. Even when our own daughter Stella odua was minister, what did she do? Enugu state should step up and do the needful.

The contract has been awarded, the festive season is fast approaching while they are 6 weeks behind already, if they dont want to fix the airport, they should open it or allow private partnership fix it.

Thot the airport was closed for this sole reason?

Buhari has taken hatred and Nepotism to a new level. But it's ok. It helps those sitting on the fence to realize the truth about the Fulani agenda to totally destroy Igbo people. We have to decide at some point to resist these people and make their safety in our region totally impossible. Don't tell me they will win, because every-side pays a heavy price for conflicts. Not to mention that this time we will have the opportunity to face them 1:1. Doing nothing is simply not an option!
