They are different types of traders

scalper,
Swing trader
Position traders.

Majority, expecially new traders prefer smaller time frame, they fall into scalper (smaller time frame set up).

The truth is, in smaller time frame, u will see so many set ups to enter a trade, at the same time, many failed set ups, because of too much NOISE.

Most consistent traders stick to higher time frame..... And enter trades on 4H and daily.

Personally, the least time frame I look at is 4H, which is rare..... I am more of doing my technical analysis on monthly and weekly, then my entering on daily. This way I see fewer set ups which is better, than seeing many.

I think if u are looking for bearish signal, its better to get your confirmation on higher time frame.

Thanks for sharing. I hope you did not lose the $400 too. Risk and money management is real. When you make high percentage in a short period of time , there is high probability of losing same within a short time as well.

What really happened? Over trading? Thought you requested for a withdrawal. You later traded it away? What pair caused it? Hope not same cable cos that's the most dreadful pair to trade now.
We can learn too from u even for the loss.
You can still trade for fun with very lower deposit imho.

This year, my set goal is to take my two accounts to the league of $10,000+ again. They were $1000+ each at beginning of Jan, watch out for the update from time to time. The reason I am doing this. Is to motivate some one with it. Do not hail me. Maybe I might loss everything but it's fine to lose it provided I learn from it. I will come stronger again.
Many times I have turned $100 to over $10,000 and lose it with fun. Without withdrawal sometimes with withdrawal.
I am stating all these should in case some one who is losing hope can be revive again.
Trading is fun, full of pain but rewarding.

Most of us are just not doing the right thing. And for as long as you do not do the right thing. You will not get the right result. Keep experimenting. Keep learning, keep improving. You will get there.

What broker are you using? That withdrawal is too long. 48hrs is enough for even a bank wire withdrawal these days.

Good you did not return that to the market. But then relax and please when you are back trading, watch risk. The market does not forgive it. No amount is too big to be wreck by high risk.

I love to read my own past posts and others own too so as to reflect, learn and see if I have made improvement.
Its October, my goal for the year was adjusted along the line as I realized it was too high. I stopped dropping update on the goals because of some feedback in my mail. As at today, I have not been able to reach half of the goal but I have made progress. I tried to look at the number of pips I made, if I was trading at the level of risk I wanted at the time I set the goal, I should have accomplish the goal but because I reduced my risk, I did not meet it but it has been great and this is how I will continue my trading.

Slow and steady.
