Yes. Banks especially Nigerian banks and exploitation are 2 sides of the same coin. They are 5 and 6. I opened an account at First Bank. I didn't choose Debit card but customer care filled it for me by herself and gave it to me to go make deposit. Worst of it all was that she chose Verve option- the worst of them all! When I told her that I didnt choose it. Why then did she choose it for me? She said I needed it to be getting sms alerts on transactions but SHE lied! Immediately I made payment I got sms message immediately. Then why did she lie? Banks make up to 70% profits on charges especially ATM monthly maintenance charges. It could be #50 a month multiplied by 2 million customers. You will shout! Other charges are ATM usage charge and transfers etc |
