Mad Melon, one half of the popular 90s group 'Danfo Drivers' will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The veteran Nigerian singer whose real name was Oghenemaro Emeofa passed away after a brief illness at the Tolu Medical Centre Hospital in Ajegunle, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. He was 42. Mad Melon is survived by his wife and two children. The late singer and his partner who drove a commercial bus to make ends meet were discovered by Cornerstone Music in 2003. GistMore3:He probably died of Hiv/Aids complications as against the tuberculosis as confirmed by the deceased son. The deceased son in an interview said Mad Melon was a chronic cigarette smoker who refused to change from smoking habits despite medical doctors warning.
