If you're charcoal black in complexion, stay away from weaves with shouting colours because you'll look like an ancestral idol. I was walking my pet 'Chiwawa' when we encountered a very dark complexioned lady wearing a wig that was so dazzling red, it was almost painful to the eyes. If you know Chihuahuas, you'll know that they can be nasty little buggers. What they lack in size, they more than makeup in noise making. My Chiwawa was so startled by the appearance of this lady that he kept barking even after we lost sight of her. The sun reflecting on that wig almost bruised my corneas.
