The title of his post days volunteer needed. If you were expecting a payment you shouldn't have clicked it bro and he isn't looking for a senior developer, he is looking for someone to help get his NGO a website and if a web does it then it is worth having on your portfolio.

Apart from the free job. The way he boldly said that you'll add the site to your portfolio as a benefit is sickening. If Portfolio is a big deal as he claims, then i could have been a multi-millionaire by now. The guy already looked down on the service of the web developer even before it is rendered.

To all those talking trash you guys are not yet serious.

Someone posted a position for a volunteer and stated his terms and you all come here to talk bullshit.

I am developer, I saw this posting and I said well good but I have gone beyond this level as I have enough jobs on my hand.

The op isn't forcing anyone to volunteer for his NGO. If you feel the position does not suit or you are not interested, then no need for this long talk just check the thread.

If you want jobs that are not for non-profit, then go out there and find clients that will pay you as clearly this is an NGO looking for A VOLUNTEER.

I understand. Like he is actually doing you a favour. Careerwise, one has yo avoid free and cheap jobs. Can be a big drain.

I clicked it to volunteer. I honestly design websites just for fun. I don't keep a portfolio.

The moment I saw 'portfolio' as part of the benefits, I got turned off.
