Akwa United on Saturday unvield their 2019/2020 kit ahead of the New Npfl season starting on 3rd Novernmber.


The kit is based on the traditional Orange and white colours of the promise keepers.


The home kit is made of dark-Orange and Light-orange check, with the Sleeves plain white in colour. It also has a v-neck collar design For convinence and beauty.


Their away kit would be plain white in colour, with orange and white stripes on the sleeves.


The kit was made by owu sports, and they are the first Nigerian Kit makers. Owu sports are also the kit sponsors for a lot of other Nigerian clubs and also from this season, they are in charge of making the balls to be used for the NPFL.

I'm sorry boss but I think we Nigerians need to be realistic with ourselves when comparing our products.
What gives you the notion that we "need to be better than this" because what I see is a local club trying to improve itself by doing things the right way despite our league not being profitable to some extent.
We need to appreciate and applaud ourselves when we take the right step.
