Delisting from NSE whether voluntary or otherwise should mandate those companies to return share held by the public to individuals .it is not fair that many of these companies used our fund but never for once gave out dividends! Return our capital! |

Captaintimex:This really touch my soul Well as a young graduate, I have a team and we have created a lot of tech ideas to benefit the world. We are just in startup stage now. And we are really in need of partners/Angel investors. This country Nigeria is naturally hard for young guys. Especially young guys with potentials. But our mind is made up. 109 exits over the past 16-17 years. Nothing to do with Buhari per se. Of course if the exits accelerated during his time, we would have reason to point fingers. Some of those are a result of business mergers/acquisitions; some are delisted because they no longer met requirements (which doesn't mean they stopped doing business, just that they delisted); some want to go private; and of course some just ended. The article doesn't mention how many companies have come onboard in that time, but indications are the stock market is healthy. |
