Defeatist? Not me mate. I was only highlighting the reality. I am laughing ironically at the stress people have to go through that's all. Do you cry? Nope. You laugh!!

Ironic laugh that it. If you get the irony. People busting their a.ss to get the scores and all.

You do realise that getting through express entry is just the beginning.

That is the bigger picture. If just getting to Canada is your final dream I feel there are tons ways you can get the nomination (and I am not an expert).
Not referring to you per se. But to those who keep on using impossible/negative words to scare people. EE seems fastest, nomination is via PNP.

CO (Listening): 225/360 - b2
EE (Writing): 295450 - b2

How many points will this add to express entry

Well done! Courage...let's see what the next draw brings. who knows! 457 at some point might be possible this year

10years work experience

Worldtaker:
It is your age that's dropping your pts, however, either you max IELTS or max TEF clb 7 is 6666, you will still fly.
How about your working experience? Is it up to 3 years? Your Msc is an advantage

Hopefully! I’m thinking of writing again. But I’m thinking should I do TCF or TEF?

They both have their merits and demerits.

If you want to see your results quicker, then TCF. They promise 15 days.

TCF is also renowned to have an "easier" EE however, few people here have TCF experience but then all might need is to get familiar with the format.

How far away were you for TEF? what sections need work? If you are close, it might make sense to retake it because they always repeat questions.

CE: 187 I need 207 minimum
CO: 225 I need 249 minimum
EE: 295 I need 310 minimum
EO: 298 I need 310 minimum

Right now I had all B2 CLB 6

Trying to decide to register for dec TCF or November TEF! I just don’t know if I can do this TEF again and actually do better! Trying not to be pessimistic but just so scared.. sigh!

I have to write IELTS again to try to max out. Actually have L:8 R:8.5 W:7 S:7.5 my first attempt.

I want to register to try to max out all domains..

You are giving these guys too much money. Once is enough.

Try the provinces. I do not see the wisdom in spending so much. That is my advice anyway.

Save your money.

I understand where you are. It appears you have a reasonable french level so you'd be fine for the TCF if you choose that route.

The more time you have to prepare, the more confident you'll be and better the performances will be. December leaves you with good time to prepare. Do you have access to TCF resources?

Yo...I think it comes down to how badly people want what they want. Don't you think it's fair game if they can afford it?

Sure, people need some guidance how best to maximise their options. TEF/TCF is a real option for alot of people with reasonable French proficiency and I don't think anyone should feel bad for multiple attempts.

I get it. People are rich or are desperate. I agree it is their money. I feel that that money can be best saved for the rainy day , though.

I also understand the desperation but if it iz Canada at all cost is it, the province offers another route. You do not have to smash TEF and IELTS to get in.

I have heard of people with less than 400 getting in.

I feel the TEF and IELTS is a racket of some sorts. These guys are bleeding people out.

Thank you so much for your responses. I don’t have any materials yet on TCF. Just the TEF 250 activites. Do you have any or know how I can get it?

I have never done the TCF exam, but I would suggest you give TEF another try.....your scores of CLB 6 are close enough to CLB7. YOU CAN DO THIS! You just gotta conquer that fear. Pls raise whatever you think your weak areas are and hopefully one or 2 people can point you in the right direction.

Refresh...refine...refire. We are rooting for you.

This is the 3rd set of results I'm seeing with CLB6.

Please be encouraged.....CLB6 is no joke even though our eyes are on CLB7. A lot of work has been put in, I'm sure, just a little push to CLB7. You too can do this!!!
