The industry has known for years that there's a large team of talent propping him up. He pulls random dudes off the street into his camp, so he can take their best stuff, while he promises them a career that never happens.

This is different from entertainers that use writers and don't hide it, and put their writers on, e.g., Kanye and Lupe.

He basically sharks Toronto, the south, and random talent online. He's not a real MC yet he pretends to be.
