I don't know if is true but when I was pregnant with my son, my daughter was having on/off sickness but I refused to believe twas my belle. But the sleeping part, I didn't notice that oo, my daughter loves her sleep. We shared bed even till date.
My dd was very ill even before I missed my period. In fact, when I didn't see af on time, I thought it was the stress of taking care of her that delayed it.. Then she started school and we were going to the hospital every two weeks. Tho I said it was new environment and school stress. We're past all that now, just the midnight thingy.
I pray that one should just stop already.

Mama I didn't want to believe it until my 16 months old (now 20 months)son started falling sick even before I confirmed pregnancy. He dropped weight from 13kg to 10kg. I must hold him before he sleeps and he will hold unto me with his leg and and arm while asleep but does not cry from sleep. I heard it's common if they are of opposite sex.

We still sleep on the same bed and I don't believe in that bathing water stuff. Just pray for her.

He's over the fear now. Many people confirmed it happened to them.

What I did was to give him the attention he needed, allowed him to be with his father as much as possible and he always prayed for him , limit the carry you and school also helped us. He's better now.
My dd too was very clingy in the early stages too. In fact, the only way she could sleep was if she cuddled me tightly, with her head on my bwest and her hands playing with my nips! shocked shocked Na there fight start o. I can permit cuddling but not playing with my nips biko angry
One night I left her to cry for almost 30 minutes. I left her alone with her papa till she had cried enough. Then I came and gave her ibuprofen and she slept off. grin That was the last time she slept on me. cheesy As long as there's someone in the room, she'd just climb on the bed and sleep off.

It's just the waking up crying and tossing around I don't understand. It's well jare

No mind that neighbour of yours o. Superstition!!! Its just coincidence and mostly what people believes. Just tell her you not sleeping together with her again, make she allow you rest and take care of your daughter. Pele
Thank you o. I don't even believe it o, just wondering about dd's recent behavior ni o

Honestly I didn't even believe it o, but her recent behavior got me worried. She would cry out as if being disturbed by something but will be her bubbly self during the day. I would wonder if she was in pains or something, but she doesn't exhibit any such thing during the day. Na why I begin fear whether unborn baby dey beat am for sleep ni o grin grin

Good to know you didn't experience such
Pregnancy brain is setting in cheesy

I believe the kids can sense that something else (the belle) is beginning to take your attention and naturally they get more clingy. Nights with GB were really bad when I was pregnant, remembering it now sef gives me goosebumps. One fake pastor even came and prophesied that she was crying so much at night cuz she was seeing things, there's no how the pastor could have known she was crying at night so I concluded it was a normal thing that happened to babies her age with pregnant mums. My only regret is that I indulged GBs shenanigans for so long, my entire third trimester was one long sleepless night.

We finally exiled her to go and share a room with little cousin, that one sleeps like a log, so once GB saw that nobody sends her night drama anymore, she started to sleep through the night again.

So sorry mama. If you bath or clean baby use hot water but not too hot ooo. After cleaning you will see that baby's body is warm before you start the massage. Please steam baby and massage baby with ori and metholetum. That's what I do and always wear baby sleep suit. These weather is not friendly oooo. Put off the fan in baby's room..
How to steam baby. Put hot water in a bowl and put baby's head on the steam that goes up. Please hold baby very well ooo and make sure that the steam is not too hot so you don't burn my baby's face. After that massage baby chest, sides and back with metholetum and ori. Apply some on your hand rub it together and place on baby's face for him to inhale it and apply some around his nose.

Thank you mama missyblissy senior cappo

The crying, does it happen while she is awake or still sleeping?

From her sleep. Like she's dreaming or something. But when she's fully awake, she stops.

When she starts, pet/tap her and tell her your mummy is here, she will always be here to protect you
I always do that when they cry in the night, my daughter always reply back with OK and continue with her sleep while Bobo will hold me, sometimes his sister or the pillow cheesy

Anugod same thing happened to me too, he was falling sick too often. I was them told by his teachers that it's because we co sleep. I just told them ok we won't sleep together again this was 3 weeks ago we still co sleep and he hasn't fallen sick since then. I believe it's superstition.

Hello mamas, welldone.
Please my DD will be a month old in few days time. Please i need recommendation on hair products to use on her. I bath her with sebamed and rub olive oil on her. So far it's been good but I'm not perceiving that soft babyish fragrance (dunno if I'm making sense undecided) from her hair or even body when i carry her.
Please suggest a baby shampoo or oil i can use. Thanks.

Modified o.

I just carried my DD outside and I'm seeing that she has cradle cap. Please between nizoral shampoo and that leaf which one is best? Please any other suggestion will be appreciated.

Wow. Now now 1month is gone, abi no be you born just yesterday grin cheesy

For cradle cap, in my opinion, you don't need anything special, apply coconut oil or even olive oil amd comb. It will clear.

I totally get the baby smell you are talking about. We use chicco and apply olive oil too.

Thanks for your suggestion. I used that for my first son but his hair still came off with the scales. I really don't want her hair coming off with the scales.

For cradle cap, what I did then was to put a very very generous amount of olive oil on my son's hair, then I covered it with small black nylon for 30mins while I distracted him with play and some toys. After which I combed gently. His hair didn't come off
