I have no idea why you're rushing to defend the federal govt, their effort is laudable but this is by no means "Ultra Modern!"

FYI, this is 2019. Nobody takes to the street to protest Buhari's govt; you don't need me to tell you why.

It is ultramodern when what you had was overcrowded buses with tiny seat. After the journey you will have bruises all over your body even when the bus was not involved in any accident.

nah bro, the bone of contention is that the above carriage pictures of what is supposedly being bought for a Abuja- Kaduna train journey.... are wrong and cannot be used for such journey, unless you expect people to sit on the floor for 3hrs (and be rightfully called ignorant village people)

We have adjusted the headline, the trains are for metros for the Abuja Light Rail and will run on the Abuja 12 stations

You are the one confusing yourself..you saw where the OP wrote light rail. The question should be, DO YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF LIGHT RAIL?....YOU can simply call light rail a city train/metro which commute people within a city.. that is why you see the seats built to face eachother with a part created at the centre for standing just as it is in a brt bus...it is built that way cause it is a quick ride...The one you are talking about is called an Sgr (standard gauge rail)which is used to move people between far distances hence a more comfortable and relaxing seat pattern..for instance lagos-ibadan, lagos-abeokuta, Abuja-kaduna, lagos-calabar...

this is not a train...these are cheap Chinese metros na!

the difference between a train and metro is very simple.....a train is for long distance thus has more seating while metro is for short distances so it has fewer seats and more space to stand in between stations.

now look back at the pics and see how there are only but a dozen seats on each carriage... so people are gonna stand for the 3 hours long journey?!
