When I read some of the criticisms on PMB, I just shake my head in disbelief of how common sense has been eroded. "Buhari: A Public Servant On A Private Visit With Public Money" is a very dumb thing to say. Does the OP expect Buhari to call an Uber or Lyft, enter a commercial plane and do the same Uber stuff when he arrives his destination all that by himself with no security or assistants because he has embarked on a private trip. If the President does this and he gets kidnapped, OP will still come back here and say PMB is the most foolish president Nigeria has ever had. A president is a State man from the day he is declared elected. His private visit or trip is a state private trip. His health is state business. He becomes a symbol of the state and cannot drop it even if the VP is acting president. Anywhere the president decides to privately visit is still the state responsibility to get him there and back safely. This display of ignorance by the OP and the MOD that pushed it to front page is disgusting. |
