Hello good people of Nairaland,

I know this question has been asked many times, but the problem is that situation continues change every year, new companies come up and old companies close down or rebrand. I've looked online for more info and I see that there are so many options, I don't even know where to start.

I just moved back to Naija and I'm living in my parent's house. The only TV they have is an old box TV, but it works, so I want to get some cheap TV programming on it.

Basically, the main criteria I have is that I just want something reliable especially during bad weather as I live in PH, has news channels, some channels that can show TV series, and some sports channels especially football. It doesn't have to be the premiership, as I know DSTV owns the rights and it's quite expensive for my budget. I heard star times are doing a promotion, so I checked their package and it's not bad.

What about CTL, Kwese, etc, any experience with those ones. I also heard CTL shows premiership because it's cable and DSTV is satellite so there is no conflict, is that true?

Even though u get digital TV most of the station u said are Scrabble. It can't be view u will only see them in channel list.
