The redmi note 8 pro is by far the better phone. The oppo a9 specs are identical to Xiaomi's mi A3 which is about 20k cheaper than the oppo a9 if u get it from local stores and as much as 40k cheaper if u get it from jumia

not really cuz the A3 has a 720+ display and the 8 has a 1080+ display while the 8 pro has a 1080+ display with HDR support

wow!....i'm at cross-roads between buying one of the two cos i have a friend that always condemns d picture quality of non-amoled screen,
on a final note, i'm artist and i love deep/vibrant colours, are you assuring me that the 1080 hdr is better than the 720 amoled?...tnx as i await your indepth/final analysis.

can't agree more. the performance is really good with Helio G90T which can handle games in HDR Ultra.
