Soldiers Invade Jakande Market, Ketu, Chase Away Traders by myright(op): 12:40pm On Nov 08, 2019
Armed soldiers on Friday morning invaded the Jakande market in Ketu, Lagos State, chasing away traders.

One person was allegedly killed in the violence that ensued as touts, in retaliation, took to the streets, destroying property. The death is yet to be confirmed.

However, a PREMIUM TIMES reporter witnessed as a person hit on the face by a stray bullet was rushed to the hospital.

The thugs also went to the police station in the area, destroying cars packed there. They also vandalised BRT buses in the area.

Many traders were seen taking refuse at a filling station close to the market.

The cause of the invasion by the soldiers and the violence was yet to be ascertained at the time of this report.

A police team at the scene later shot sporadically into the air to disperse the thugs.

Soldiers all over the world invade other people's country but naija soldiers only get power on top of their own people. Very soon, the army will become the new mobile police, then mobile police will become regular police, then regular police will become vigilante.

STRANGULATION OF BUSINESSES IN THE SOUTH!

3 markets in the South burnt within a month.
Onitsha, Ugehlli & Balogun markets.

With the closed borders, the biz may collapse !

Remember they wanted to militraize the South using the "Operation Positive Identification" as an excuse.

Today another market in Lagos has been closed by Soldiers.

Looking more like they want to bring the South to its knees ,the way they brought Biafra to its knees with closing its border during the war.

The attack on our markets must stop

We should ask why.

This kind of news shouldn't be making front page. It doesn't cover the story.

You might say: at least it informs that something is happening somewhere. And half-bread, as they say, is better than none.

I say: It's better to be ignorant than to be misinformed. This isn't half-baked information, it's 'misbaked' information. And it's better to be thirsty than to drink salty water.

Yoruba people say: partial blindness only causes conflicts.

After the cowardly soldiers finished , the touts instead of retaliating on the soldiers now retaliated on the people again.
Re: Soldiers Invade Jakande Market, Ketu, Chase Away Traders by Ryan03(f): 2:07pm On Nov 08, 2019
See them, useless touts. Soldiers invade your market, killed someone and you took to the streets destroying properties of other civilians and cars parked at police station. Police men on duty should have shot at them directly, perhaps they have always been accused of that, it will just be adding more numbers to the already existing one

The thugs destroying cars and properties that do not belong to the soldiers, what's their issue?

Nigerian poor hates themselves a lot.
