@Native Reporters The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday, November 12, revealed Chief Bisi Akande as the face behind the successful formation of the party which eventually won the 2015 presidential election. Tinubu stated this at a book presentation of a book in honour of Akande, a former governor of Oyo state, where he also promised that the APC will make Nigeria great. He said without Akande, APC would not have emerged as a political party that battled the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to a halt in the 2015 election. “Here I can tell you one thing; the establishment of the APC might not have taken place. For this single act, if for nothing else, the nation owes a debt of gratitude to Chief Bisi Akande. “However, this excellent but humble man will never ask for anything for himself. He will simply continue giving his best effort to advance the public cause,” he said. The politician, a former governor of Lagos, also used the opportunity to take a swipe at the eighth National Assembly led by Bukola Saraki, saying the legislature was antagonistic of the Buhari administration. According to him, the legislature under Saraki frustrated the administration of Buhari as it fought for ‘business as usual’. He commended the ninth National Assembly for taking steps and actions to help Buhari achieve his set targets adding that reforms and successes recorded by the administration thus far would be judged right by posterity. Tinubu blamed the PDP for the slow pace of governance in the country saying the now opposition party led an irresponsible government and wasted public funds between 1999 and 2015. “The road to good governance is tough; there have been obstacles placed in our way. APC is just the worse mistake Nigeria made. For all those zombies that voted for buhari I really hope they are happy and life is so beautiful for them. If you all like, you can still vote APC in 2023, na una sabi. I thought they said old age comes with wisdom but in this case am seeing advanced foolishness. Just look at what a supposed elder stateman is saying, the present senate is a mess, I don't like Saraki, but I now appreciate some of the fights he was giving PMB, he found a way of curtailing his tyranical and dictatorial tendencies. Tinibu forgot that he was among those that held sway between 1999-2015, and is among those that stole the treasury and is still stealing. Look at Alpha Beta, collecting money for the whole state over years without any form of accountability and transparency Tinibu doesn't care if we all die because he has been promised power in 2023, but I assure him he has been made the kind of promise a man makes to a woman when trying to go into her pussy, he will realize that in 2023.
