the deputy governor candidate can resign then apc will replace him. If they continue with this ticket and later lost this forgery case in the supreme Court, tribunal will disqualify them even if they win
Very true....

But the issue of getting a deputy now, is another legal hurdle entirely. One they don't need at all.......

It's tentative for now...because the truth is this man's case on a good day won't sail.....he used four different names at different times.....that's very very funny.

So the thing is, contest...hope to win..then he resigns... Because his case is a bad case.

You know nothing boy! Can you build something on nothing? Let's assume they obtain a stay of execution and eventually win the election while it's later proven the lower court was right in its judgement, would their join ticket then miraculously becomes valid? Go and get a copy of your constitution and read to cure your chronic ignorance
Let me ignore the insults and overlook your boyish attitude.assuming they win the elections,he can create the time to go back to the schools he finished from, get proof that he is the same person and not forged.all he needs is time which he didnt have this period.by the way,the appeal court settled this case in atiku vs buhari.dont be unmindful of the fact that once they are sword in,based on incumbency no court will remove them.

Next time, adduce your points without insults.

his contesting the election makes the APC ticket void . This would have been possible if this case is after election. The better option is to resign but greed won't let him

They should better have plan B now if there's room for that, incase the appeal court rules against them

He cant resign now,its not about greed.resigning will cause more problem legally.he was always going to resign after the polls anyway assuming apc won.for now,he is needed to deliver nembe lga

Resign and it's tentatively still void.....

They baited him and waited.....when you want to enter politics, just block everywhere. Otherwise, they would have attacked him when he won the Senatorial seat.

It's devil and deep blue sea-something.

No court will refuse a stay of execution till after elections except supreme court

Sorry for the insult... I get your points but what I'm saying is, it's the higher court that would make the final decision and if it goes against him, his Party looses out even though they won

Apc should just focus on kogi then because this man will lose the case, and tribunal will void APC vote like they did in zamfara

When you have such long and complicated names, frequent changes are inevitable
APC is full of fraudulent people. Buhari, Adebayo, Adeosun, obla, millions from the north etc

I don't think any part of the constitution talks about replacing a candidate that resign willingly

........especially as it is now a pre-election matter.

The argument of Livy and Livinus as apportioned by a few is "baseless" and "unrelated"....

The man(I don't even know what name to call him) didn't cover his path properly.

On the way around, you might have a point, he could have resigned before now citing whatever reason(s)...INEC will open up that window....

Over to the SANs
if there is no way to replace him then apc is gone in bayelsa. I don't see them winning bayelsa in the first place

Even if he resigns, APC can't nominate another because the time stipulated by law for such to happen has passed.

I agree.but you need to study and understand nigerian politics by now to know that if apc wins and they are sworn it,nothing will remove them.

Mr Man, if he contests the election and wins and the courts (up to Supreme) finds that he was not qualified to contest in the first place, the entire joint ticket will be declared defective and sent out of Govt house.

No two way about it. Except he is substituted(and as per electoral law that is near impossible), his only hope is to pray the courts later absolve him of fraud in the susbsiting case.

That you are arguing qgainst this is not surprising to those of us who know you here though
